Rhea

I was up pretty early this morning to finish off a few work things. I had a deadline, as a friend was picking me up. Thankfully she messaged me at 08:50 to say she was running behind, and would pick me up at 09:30. That was perfect for me as I had lost track of time, and was still sitting in my pjs. I quickly finished what I was doing, and had a very quick turn around to get myself showered, dressed and ready.

It was a greyish morning, but we headed to John Muir Country Park and had a lovely walk. We’ve not seen each other for weeks, so had lots to catch up with. Usually we would have fitted in a scone and a cuppa, but S had to get home for her youngest, so we had to forgo a scone. She dropped me off at home, before heading off home.

After lunch I spent most of the afternoon doing chores, and thinking about packing a bag. I headed out for some fresh air and provisions, and had a wander by the river. I bumped into a friend who was dog walking. We had a lovely chat, and continued on our respective walks. I bumped into another friend in the supermarket, so more chat. I got home eventually! We had a tea of leftovers and whatever we could find in the fridge.

I then had to get stuck into my packing, which included some ironing. TT was also packing. BB was out with friends.

S and I walked past East Links Family Park this morning. This rhea came over to see us!
