Conserving energy

After a little bit of laundry distribution, I was finished quite early as this’ week seems to have been less restricted by ‘Saturday to Saturday’ bookings. Complicated for that reason during the week, but easier for today.

I therefore had time for an affogato at Mr McCoy’s, (no doubt the best coffee and ice cream), bought myself flowers at the market and had a little Scooby and Agu walk down to the sleepy hollow secret pool again.

Then I set to at this pile. One pot of fig jam and two of chutney are the result. I feel astonishingly fortunate to be able to have this treasure in my larder now.
