Red (Day 3768)

The usual morning routine was followed by a trip to Stromness to collect mum and get George and Red out for a ride. It is only the second time mum has been out for ages and I suggested she and George could set the pace. We had a really lovely ride and did a bit of trotting and a couple of really nice canters. I forget how fabulous Red is to ride, and despite him being concerned by a few things along the way, I managed to keep him going.
Back home to get Sigyn out to Wasdale, and after lunch another trip to the horses to get the chores done.
I spent far far too long fiddling with the harrow which has been buried in the grass for months in a tangled heap. Who knew you could tie knots in a harrow...
Looking forward to having my beautiful wife back home tomorrow hopefully the good weather will hold long enough we can get a ride out soon.
