Happy Moments

Kirkleatham Hall.

This time I took the dogs round the back of the stable building and through the woods a little. We actually ended up doing a circular walk and passed several derelict buildings which have been noted for blipping another time.

I decided on this image today however - it’s called The Toasting Gate. Circa 1780, grade II listed, basically a gothic ornamental gatehouse with a (once) picturesque driveway down to the original hall.

This view is across the field at the back of it really. It looked like there was a path you could follow through the field but we had left Callum long enough walking up and down the pavement by the car park so we called it a day and returned home.

Other than that, it’s been a domestic sort of day, got the washing dry outside just before the rain started. Should have done some vacuuming, but left that for tomorrow. Can’t have too much excitement in one day!
