Black Saturday

Today is pretty dreadful weather wise, so it was just as well that I rose early this morning when the light was nice and before the rain arrived.  My wandering around the village began at 07:30, I knew that there would be a parade through the village when the local Black Preceptory would be making their way to Dundrum for the county gathering, traditionally they parade the village before they leave.

As I was early I had time to work out where I wanted to position myself, I wanted to have the church halls as a background as it is the village's most distinctive feature.  All I had to do was wait, and this was the result.  A fuller account of this event can be found at:
