Regeneration

The aptly named Blackstairs provide a backdrop in this favourite view today. A nice long walk up a "mountain" opened the lungs. Seems a lot of felling took place here and now the new trees are taking hold. In a few years the distant hills will undoubtedly be obscured. Sadly, the heather and gorse are not as colourful this year.
