Whisky

Today we visited the Glenlivet Distillery and then the Speyside Cooperage to give our visitor two views of the whisky industry.

The Cooperage was particularly interesting. 14 Coopers were mending casks that had held whisky and would again. These skilled craftsmen work fast and are fascinating to watch.
