Hampton Court

Lovely day out with friends at Hampton Court Palace for the Bank Holiday Monday.

This is a photo taken in Base Court, the first courtyard you come to after going through the main entrance. The red bricks look great against the blue sky.

There were lots of extras in the gardens to entertain the crowds today: hawks, jousting, King Henry VIII and various members of his court, the King's dogs, lots of costumed theatre, etc.
