Eggsellent
The chooks have started to lay more eggs this week. I am not yet banking on full production though: hen behaviour is a mystery and they could easily go off the lay very suddenly for no apparent reason. I speak from bitter experience.
Today though my egg bowl is full; and protected by Henny - a precious gift from Latvia.
The day has mostly been occupied making a Romano cheese (a full-fat Parmesan) and using the time between cheesing to jot down and organise my thoughts for the course application.
Fortunately I have until 12th September to apply, so there is plenty of time to perfect it. Right now I have several sheets of scribbled sentences and paragraphs on my desk. I will consolidate and order them in the next few days. I am enjoying the brain-challenge of the application process. It's been a long time...
Bean has been a great help.
Tonight's gastronomic delight will be Turkish stuffed peppers courtesy of Blipper IainatCreel (and Delia). I hope it lives up to expectations.
