Flashy Seedhead

An early walk (just for a change) … around 06:30…and I wandered close to (but not underneath) the ‘red kite tree’ from yesterday…and today there was just one bird sitting at the top…I didn’t bother photographing it, as there was not much light.

Instead, I photographed this seedhead…using the flash (even though it was light) and trying to get the background as dark as possible..playing with settings, in manual mode… it almost worked :-)

I have spent all day doing a jigsaw puzzle (a Wasgij one) , which the granddaughters bought me for looking after the dogs a few weekends ago.

I started last night, just sorting the edge pieces…and today I finished the rest of it…1000 pieces in total. I have done nothing else, apart from make a roast dinner…so missed doing my blip..hence the late night processing and upload.
