Raindrops on roses ...

... what a wonderful sight! We have a full water butt this evening, and there is more rain forecast over the coming days. 

I put on my waterproofs to walk to the butcher’s this morning, and enjoyed hearing the raindrops pattering down on the hood of my jacket. It’s a great relief to know that the drought is finally coming to an end.
