Aperitif...

A little drink to stimulate the appetite, in this case for more rain please. The sky looks busy enough for a decent storm, but I have my suspicions it won't fall here.

I thought I might get my final two doors painted today. On removing one of them it has a split in the frame, so I'm fixing that first and painting tomorrow.

The dahlias have done well this year. Although very pretty they don't seem to attract any interest from bugs and bees, which is a shame. Just a flower on Friday then; at least I saved you from another common darter. ;-)
