Intense

Whisky and I have been watching the goings-on in the garden. The squirrels were eating all the beech nuts and throwing the shells around us (and on us). Pierrot the pigeon and friend had a peck off with a female starling who stood her ground. A sparrow flitted here and there picking up anything that the others missed. The hoverflies and bees were out on the asters and umbellifers in the sunny afternoon. It's bliss just sitting and watching.
