Chimneys

Another grey morning, which definitely needed a coat. Another very busy bus, but at least I got a seat this morning. It took me over thirty minutes to get my laptop going this morning, which was very annoying as I had work to be getting on with, and I was keen to make progress.

The office was fairly busy today, with quite a few colleagues in. I escaped at lunchtime for a quick walk. The day had brightened up considerably. My day ended with a late and long meeting, with a most surprising outcome. I’m not sure what will happen next!

I was on a late bus again, but at least it turned up, and at least I got a seat. TT had prepared a lovely tea, which was a real treat. The boys had been back to Glasgow today, taking more stuff through to BB’s flat. They also treated themselves to a lovely lunch.

I had another late walk, in the dark.

This bit of the New Town always seems odd to me. The row of flat roofed houses, with lots of chimneys, with the colonnade towering over them.
