Female redwing blackbird

Today was a cool rainy day. Fall seems to be getting closer and closer but after the extreme heat of the last 2 months the cooler weather is welcome. The rain has also helped the grass turn a little bit green once again. I got a shot of a female red wing black bird. They look much different than the males do. You can see on the wing there there is a little bit of red this is not always visible .
