Miss Lily Pad returns home

We hadn’t seen Miss Lily for a couple of days. We think she spends her days in the shelter of the PVC tube out of the sunshine and her nights hunting bugs in the pond and surrounding plants. Early this morning I just happened to see her climbing back in to her “house”.
Our summer squash plant is finally growing and beginning to produce yellow squash. They are still small but soon will be perfect eating size for two…see extra photo.
