Planner

Up fairly early today, although I didn’t stay up after Bailey’s breakfast as I had planned. I was expecting the arrival of the fitter to replace the kitchen flooring after the leaky dishwasher. A ‘morning’ appointment but I didn’t have long to wait as he called at 9 to say he’d be here in thirty minutes which he was and done in just over an hour. Very similar to its predecessor but I am pleased with it even if it was an enforced purchase.

Whilst I waited and then after he was done, I got on with work jobs including a significant task needed for the first day back, sorting my timetable, diary and my wall planner for the next academic year. And just one significant job left that must be done before Tuesday. I’ll need to get my head around a few other bits too but am pleased to have got these things ticked off today.

Bailey was garden-bound while the flooring was done but has suited himself for the rest of the day.
