Young!

I was trying to rid (ha) my supposed wildflower area of the awful Japanese stilt grass today when I encountered this little guy! The extra show him/her next to my hand for scale. S/he was pretty quick to run away and find a better place to hide. But I was tickled pink to have found such a lovely young woodland box turtle.
