I met a cat in Asda today

I asked if this cat in the pushchair was ill. His owner told me he is an emotional support cat, because she was autistic. She said when the cat was wearing the red beads it knew it was ‘working’. I couldn’t ask the owner any more questions because her friend joined her and started chatting to her.

I didn’t think the cat looked particularly happy. I don’t think cats can be trained in the way dogs can. My own cats are creatures of habit but the only thing I have trained them to do is not to run into the garage when I open the door. I do it by shouting ‘No!’
