St Paul’s Church, Spalding

This morning I got lumbered with a taxi run to get the granddaughter to work at Springfields in Spalding, so we took advantage of the situation, Biskit and I taking the recommended ‘Dog Walk’ along the ‘Coronation Channel’ from the Springfields car park.

I took several photos and have put them on Flickr.  The blip photo is the first shot I took looking at St Paul’s Church across the Channel, and seven of the best (well better ones) are on Flickr.  There is a shot with Biskit from my telephone at extra.

The channel was constructed in the early nineteen fifties, opening in 1953 as part of the flood defences after the floods in 1947.
