Birthday party number 2

Today we had our family and local friends over to celebrate my son's third birthday.

The trampoline was the usual hit, and the bouncy castle got a look in. I did barbecue a lot of food, but my mum being my mum believed it wouldn't be enough and brought more.

It was embarrassing as the gas canister ran out, but sent my mum and brother out to get another. Actually it was to get my brother to ensure my mum didn't buy anymore food!

We seem to have a wasp infestation somewhere as they have come to join us us for the barbecue yesterday and today. We improvised some wasp traps, including flat Coca-Cola in a normal 2 litre bottle (caught 2), flat Coca-Cola in the cut down Sprite bottle (caught 3), three empty Sol bottle (caught 1 each), leftover Sol (caught none), leftover Corona (caught 6), and finally Corona bottle with Magners cider in it (caught 14). So we have an outright winner... Cider!

Karma, as they say, is a bitch... As I got stung today, but I'll take that as I've caught 28 wasps over two days.
