I saw this butterfly on our driveway. Had never seen one of these before but it appears it’s a quite common one. Reading on Wikipedia I found out that it’s been not so common in the north of the Netherlands since the 70s, which explains why I had not seen it. It seems to have expanded its area since 2020.

Today we celebrated Inge’s birthday. She’s turning 19 tomorrow.
