Sea lion crossing

Another day onboard a boat. This time to visit Punta Carrion for some snorkeling and Isla Plaza Sur for an island walk. The snorkeling was even more disappointing today as the water was very murky so it was difficult to see anything. I did see a couple of sharks and a few fish but really nothing compared to yesterday. At the end as we were getting back to the boat there were a number of sharks in a sheltered bay but again the visibility was limited. The walk was much better. We saw lots of sea lions, land iguanas, swallow tailed gulls, geckos and frigate birds. It looks like we're leaving Galapagos without seeing the famous blue footed boobie.

Again, the sea was very rough on the way back but this boat was a bit more stable and comfortable than yesterday's. The food was much better too.
