look who I found

I was in Bamburgh for the afternoon, and looked out for a zealot with a message of hope. Who should I find but the Archbishop of York, who had dedicated a new shrine to St Aidan and was about to bless the village. That was most convenient for my blip.

John Tucker Mugabi Sentamu was born into Uganda's Buffalo clan on the 10th June 1949. Dr Sentamu was a high court judge in Uganda before fleeing Idi Amin's regime. He came to Britain in 1974 after being involved in a case that led to the imprisonment of one of Amin's cousins. Once in the UK, Dr Sentamu set about chasing his dream of becoming an instrumental black leader in the Church. His outspokenness and strong missionary zeal earned him a reputation as a fearless leader who is capable of bringing new life to the Church.
