2025 Friday — Having Fun Looking

After piano lessons this afternoon, we stopped to look at two houses that are “For Sale” that are both on the same private dead-end cul-de-sac and both owned by the same couple. They are also very close to where my piano teacher lives.

The write-up on these houses explains:
The big house: "This house has not been lived in since it was remodeled by local builder, who redid the entire house. The house consists of two bedrooms (one more of a craft room) and an office, two bathrooms, and with the kitchen, dining room and living room all on the same level. You will appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail. This house is ready to be enjoyed! The adjacent property is owned by the same couple, and is also for sale."

The small house: "This is a whimsical 'funky cool Cambria' house. A local builder constructed this house with some techniques that are reminiscent of local legend Warren Leopold. This two bedroom, 1.5 bath house backs up to 600+ acres of nature, with the trees, the birds that soar below you, and the cattle that graze slowly across the valley. The house definitely takes advantage of natural views. If you get a chance to come inside, stand in the tub/shower that hangs over the hillside."

Both houses are very interesting and I’m glad we had the opportunity to tour them.
