Doug Hansen Remembered

I finished my powerpoint (actually keynote on my mac) for the celebration of life to be held for our friend Doug on Saturday.  Relieved sigh.  The largest photo of my main collage was actually taken by me, but all the others and those in the extra collage were photos of photos in their memory albums (there was about a 2 foot stack to go through).  The presentation will include the music that Doug chose;  "A Journey to a Star" by Alice Faye, "I Want to Linger" by the Andrews Sisters, and "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. I heard a preview of the talk that will be given and it fits perfectly with the photos to highlight a life lived with kindness, love, friendship, the creative creation of many elaborate costumes, and a child-like sense of finding joy in silly things.  I'm really pleased with how my presentation came together, and am sure a few tears will be shed and much laughter as well, as it is viewed.  I haven't been sleeping well as I get so energized by the creative process of being immersed in this type of project.  Hopefully now that it's complete I can rest!
