Home farm

At Forglen estate.

Leaf raking, and clearing plant debris from the work on the old wall. Noticed a few bits of that job not quite done.
The guy came to fit the smart meter; all the way from Glasgow that morning, he said. It appears to be getting and sending signal - Scotland has a separate radio frequency network for meters, and doesn't use the cellular network by default.

There was rain forecast for the afternoon (didn't happen), so I went to walk over to Forglen estate. Even more of the commercial forest has been harvested, and more deciduous trees planted at the edges of the acreage. There are now great views over the land that weren't visible before. Blip is the old buildings which form a square, being the stable yard for the home farm .. it was alive with swallows, which are nesting in the eves .. lots of chittering audible. There were a few parked cars too, so it's not deserted. There are new farm buildings around as well.

More gardening in the afternoon, and some review work for the project.
20C high and a wind from the South.
