Green for go...

A busy day getting organised for going away.  Alan is looking forward to having an empty.  I asked him if he was going to have a party and got a definite yes.  Just him, Christine, Vickie and Penny apparently!  LOL! 

L popped round mid afternoon to give me a gel nail polish.  I had a break from having my nails done over the last few weeks and it feels so good to have them done again.

Packing done, we had dinner and I cleared out the fridge of stuff that will be out of date by the time we get back.  Alan's support worker Penny took everything so no waste. The herbs I had left I put in the large ice cube trays (bought for this very purpose :-) covered them with water and into the freezer.

The plan is to leave tomorrow just after lunch and hopefully get to Ullapool by 5pm.  That would give us a little time to spend sightseeing (Ullapool and the surrounding area is lovely) before dinner at 8pm.

Well that's the plan.  Taking bets to when we will actually leave :-)))
