Basketball fever

Elina and Janne had extra two tickets for today's FIBA Eurobasket Group B daytime games. First Emma was supposed to go, but she got busy with activities for freshmen. So, I went to see Great Britain - Lithuania game with my friend Pia. It was the first game of the tournament in the Nokia Arena, so there was a short opening ceremony before the game started. There were over 1000 Lithuanian fans and about 10 fans from UK. Lithuanian fans were very loud, I've never heard cheering like that. In the extra photo you can see two Great Britain fans in maybe not so good seats.

In the evening Finland had a game against Sweden, we watched it from TV. Both teams matched each other, blow for blow and bucket for bucket, in a fiercely intense battle. Eventually Finland got over the line to beat Sweden 93-90. Next Finlad will face off against Great Britain on Friday.
