The sharpest tool in the box…

…not!
The carving wasn’t going very well so I sharpened my Lino Print tools.
First you have to use the yellow stuff back and forth on the wide part and the shaped ridges a few times till they’re coated. Then drag each tool along the appropriate ridge about ten times top and bottom of the metal edge of the tool and the underside on the coated wide bit.
It makes such a difference.
I also cleaned the windows inside, vacuumed everywhere then I was off on the bus to aqua aerobics at Settle Swimming Pool.
I got a lift home from my aqua friend Carol. We put the world to rights on the way. She is a Farage supporter  - misguided woman! I don’t hold it against her, I say what I think and hope she takes some of it on board.
After lunch I was settled on the sofa ready to drop off when there was a knock at the back door. Eddie the sign writer man visited us. We had a Nice chat then he went home and we had our tea.
Now we’re watching a concert on YouTube with Mark Knopfler and 
Emmy-Lou Harris. We both love them, especially when they sing together.
