Gillis Beach

Started to deconstruct the showroom after the Open Studio....what a pain it was picking out the hundreds of staples i'd driven into the stands!!!!  

Then into Baddeck to meet up with Alyson, Patrizia, Linus and Jane for a farewell lunch....Alyson is off to Britain to visit family for a few weeks then she'll be moving to Montreal for the foreseeable future!   Lunch was wonderful....and we had a lovely visit!  I'll miss Alyson, she has become a good friend!

Then i headed off for a few hours on my own....it's been really busy here with visitors etc.   Ended up taking the Little Narrows ferry and stopped off at Gillis beach, which is quite small .... but it was lovely to just sit there with my book for a little while.
