Bit of a problem with flags appearing...

...along the A259 near Brighton  Deeply worrying.  I'd love to catch someone putting them up and tell them "I'm not English. Would you like to deport me?  Yes? OK I'll have a nice apartment in Edinburgh please."

They have been appearing across the country in recent days as part of a national movement called “Operation Raise the Colours”.
Brighton and Hove City Council said the flags would be removed in line with the 1980 Highway Act.
However, Councillor Bridget Fishleigh, for Rottingdean and West Saltdean, reported that contractors faced verbal abuse while removing them and new ones had been put up.
