Grab Handles Grab Shot

Heavy rain was forecast all day so I suggested a bus trip to Cheltenham. I wanted to see Eddington. It wasn't very good. I think I was beguiled by the trailer (not the first time this has happened). Mrsfb on the other hand wasn't impressed with the trailer so went shopping instead. I have to say that faced with the choice of a two star film in the cinema versus a shopping expedition I would probably always opt for the cinema.

Coming back to the film, the cinematography was the best bit. It was a bit long, took ages to get going and the plot and acting were a bit crazy. The idea was good, but it is a bit of a dud really. A couple of people walked out after an hour.

I grabbed my blip on the bus of course, looking very neat and orderly. I can't imagine there are ever enough people on the bus to need those grab handles. It had just started raining but after I took the photo it became torrential. By the time we arrived in Cheltenham though it had stopped.

I had a bit of time after the film to call into a couple of mobile phone shops to see what deals there might be if we have to consider switching from BT next month. I nearly gave up in the O2 shop. The woman in front of me in the queue couldn't remember the 1st, 3rd and 5th letters of her pet's name. I mean, what if you don't have a pet?

It was largely a waste of time anyway, neither O2 nor Vodafone would give me anything like the offers available on switching sites on line. I got the impression that the sales staff get no commission on any SIM only deals under £20 per month, so they can't be bothered.
