Wednesday: Windfalls

We had about an hour of gentle rain this morning, which was very welcome and another shower later on :-))

Today’s Blip of Bramley cooking apples which have fallen in the wind, there’s a Damson tree next to the apple tree and I made compote from the fruit of both - this was a very tasty dessert with Ambrosia custard for me and vanilla ice cream for MrD.
