...and then the Sun Rose

Being a proud Lancastrian, I cannot resist a red rose.
This one had the sun hitting it in such a way it was glowing and I knew I had to Blip it.

The focus isn't exactly tack sharp, I'll admit, but I think the slight extra softness makes it look more like it did to my eyes than perhaps it would have done with perfect sharpness.

What a weather day! Rain, sunshine, rain, sunshine, rain, thunder and lightning, and finally sunshine.

Still, I stayed dry so no complaints.
