Trio of pipes

Friday

We got settled into our tents. The extra photo is of the girls and their star bracelets.

I was leading sessions with both Bands 1 and 2 over the weekend and the first event was the opening of the session tent and music played by each group of musicians.

After our evening meal I went to a session led by friends then to the Northumbrian Ceilidh led by Alistair Anderson and some excellent other musicians. They played lots of instruments but in my photo three of them are playing Northumbrian pipes.
