Day 2 along the North Coast

We started with going to Magilligan Point where there is a Marcelli Tower and a ferry.
We continued alo g the road to Downhill and took the road to Gotmore where there was a fantastic view (my blip) and a statue of the God of the Sea.
Onwards tothe beach at Port Stewart where the cars park on the beach which is great as you have all your beach stuff near you. Just alo g the road is Portrush a very popular holiday resort as they have a huge holiday park. Across the bay is the ruins of Dunluce Castle.
Weco ti used to Balentoy and the ruins of Kinbane Castle.
We took the road home across to Finvoy as wanted to see if I could fi d the church where one of my ancestors was baptised in. I saw it thirty odd years ago when Don and I visited Ireland but unfortunately there were two churches in  Finvoy and I didn't recognise them as they were too modern.
A great day out.
