Stairs #9: to the Golden Gallery

There are various types of stairs that lead up to the galleries at St.Paul’s Cathedral. Wide wooden steps, very narrow stone steps and these shown here are the spiral metal stairs that you take to the Golden Gallery at the top of the dome. This was taken at a nicer section of the stairwell where there was some natural light. Back blip from yesterday’s visit.
