Large numbers ...

Our lawn, which at the moment looks like a bed of straw, is absolutely covered in acorns (not to mention a couple of empty snail shells). Our lovely gardener, Steve, raked up hundreds on Friday but he has to repeat the exercise for several weeks in a row every year until the ancient oak tree has divested itself of the whole crop. I don’t know how I’d manage without him, as I certainly couldn’t do it, especially as our lawn is on quite a slope.

Speaking of large numbers, did any other blippers notice a huge uptick in their views on Monday 25th August? I certainly did, and on checking other people’s journals I could see I wasn’t the only one. Either there was a glitch in the statistics, or a bot decided to have a massive trawl through Blipfoto!
