Choices

I had to make decisions on gravel colour and plant layout. He suggested the yellow (extra) and demonstrated how it would look when wet - it was still too bright. Imagine this on a huge sloping bank and glowing in the background my very large Choisya (bright yellow). He came back with more muted colour which should be fine. He chose the plants which he assures me are slow growing and we had bit of debate where to plant them. I was not keen on having five small firs in a line looking like soldiers.
Tomorrow the membrane goes on then delivery of pebbles.
Meanwhile heating engineer came and gave the bad news that smart control is not covered by them, needs third party. He was, however, able to sort things out but whether it lasts is debatable.

Lovely shower of rain will save me watering containers.
