I've finished the firewood project for the time being. My neighbour and myself now have plenty of firewood for the next two winters. Using this log-splitter for the larger logs has made the job fairly easy, about three hours for two days. I couldn't have done it using the axe for these lumps, it would be too dangerous and my wrist wouldn't hold for the job (my wrist is getting better but very slowly, I don't want to risk it getting worse).
