Information overload

We had a lovely family day on Monday.
A late celebration of my dad’s 85th birthday involved a day at the cricket where we watched Derbyshire get bested by Essex. Although our team lost it was entertaining. My sister, her partner and my niece joined us with mum and dad, my sister had to duck at one point when a ball came flying towards her which she hadn’t spotted. We had a nice picnic type lunch, beer and ice creams.
In the evening we went to a canal side pub for an excellent meal with a good bottle of wine and lots more chat. A great family day out.
