Couple of beers

Finished work and headed home to go to the photographic society.
Seems I have missed an email, well not read all of it and one of my photos has been selected to be part of the international photo exchange the Edinburgh Photographic Society arranges each year with Exmouth Camera Club, Waikato Photographic Society (NZ), Johannesburg Camera Club (SA) and Gibraltar Photographic Society.

Each club send to the others 40 digital images of the club's own choosing. The idea is simply a showcase of what each club likes to do: not competitive in any way and no judging involved.
Never though this would happen so I thought I should go and see if the person organising the exchange was at the club to apologise for not getting back to him about it for a good few weeks.

Each month the Phoenix group meet to show some prints people are currently working on and also to select prints for up coming competitions.

It is also a good way for people who are submitting photos to be judged by the Royal Photographic Society with a hope of getting some accreditation to get their entry checked and comments passed on it.

A fellow blipper is doing this at the moment so I was interested in seeing what prints he had chosen. From there it was off tot he pub for a couple, which turned into a couple more and then home to bed.
This is just an emergency blip of the inside of the pub at the end of the night
