Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge

We have been on the go since about 8.30 this morning, catching the tram back up to the castle to see the interior of the cathedral and parts of the castle buildings.  The cathedral while old, has a lot of newer items including some of the stained glass windows which were done early in the 20th century.  I have never seen such beautiful works of art.  Amazing!!  I have put a few up in the extras.   We watched the changing of the guard.  I mean no disrespect but their full summer uniforms (particularly when they are wearing sunglasses) reminds me of Bond villain henchmen.  After that we had a bite to eat at one of the many cafe/restaurants in the grounds and then headed down to the river where we saw the Nutrias.  Rodent type creatures from South America (6th extra), from there we walked to the Lennon wall and then back home where we collapsed and recharged for the afternoon jaunt which was up to Wenceslas Square.   As it is international day of the dog, I have put a Papillon up as an extra for HRH to view.  Happy international day dogs!   Not much to look at at the top end of the square near the museum as they are doing major rennovations.  We found somewhere for dinner and then back to the apartment to pick up the big camera where I took the main blip for tonight of the Charles bridge and castle behind.  A variable step count puts me over 21K today and as I am not wearing a smart watch it is probably more than that.  I am about to stagger off to bed.   I hope you have enjoyed Prague.  Tomorrow we are off to Budapest.
