Cause after all You do know best

I'm still working on being the best version I can be. 

I slept well last night despite reading a book which is scaring me slightly. 

I woke at three, for a pee, and stood and listened to the rain smacking off the windows.   It was much cooler than it had been for nights.  Lovely. 

Woke up.  Showered  Sorted the Cat. Emptied the dish washer. Made coffee dried my hair.  Played all the NYT games.   Headed off to work. 

Work was busy, non stop all day.    

Si came and got me, and I made a pot of Sweet potato and coconut soup......  I had some for dinner and then did it out the other end.  Lovely. 

at 7.45 the skies opened, just as himself was getting ready to go to the allotment.    By the time he was ready - the rain had stopped and we decided to risk it.   Up at the woods the rain hadn't fallen.  And joy  ... there were NO SQUIRRELS!  

 It was just lovely up at the allotment - quiet, birds roosting for the night, lots of flowers. 

We took a wee detour round the town, very quiet tonight. 

Now home, cuppa and then bed.
