Leegarth Woods
Mist hanging around most of the day, windy and some rain. A better afternoon and a lovely calmer evening with touches of blue skies.
Last day of my holidays. Up early, headed out walkies with Sammy after breakfast, popped by Madeline's. Headed out west for a hike on my own. A lazy afternoon at home. Working in the shop this evening, a steady night. Last walkies, before bed.
After being out west on Sunday, I thought to come back and explore this small woods plantation. There must be around 300-400 trees in this small woods, with a good number fallen over the years. Through the middle runs this burn, with a few small waterfalls. I've always know this type of water be be called redmire, iron ore seeping out the bogs. Not sure of the woods right name, it's just north of Kergord, next to a croft house named Leegarth, West Hill of Weisdale.
