Quiet

After a fun packed long weekend, today's been pretty quiet. I've done a few minor house jobs, including a wash load. As forecast, the morning rain didn't last, luckily. I also finished the brilliant book I got for my birthday.

Normally we go shopping on a Monday evening, but we were over visiting Jeri and the family yesterday. We didn't go today either.

Over the weekend a problem developed with the driver side door of the car. It wouldn't open and Brian had to clamber in and out via the passenger side, which provoked some amusement for the rest of us.

When he got to work today he called the AA! They couldn't actually fix it, but referred us to a local garage who can, but not until Friday. They've said that the car should not be driven until a new lock has been fitted as it's unsafe and if he was involved in an accident the insurance may not pay out. So the car will stay up at the garage until it's done. One of Brian's colleagues will give him lifts to/from work in the meantime. 

I had a walk in the park after lunch and took a few photos on my phone. My arm is a lot better now so I could have carried my camera and practiced with it, but I didn't think until I was in the park. Never mind...
