Tiny courgette

Today’s Tiny Tuesday challenge is ‘ edible’.
I was just about to go outside to find a suitable photo when it started raining. What a surprise! However it only lasted a couple of minutes. We need much more.
We have had a bumper crop of these round courgettes this year. Only a couple of plants so not too many all at once.
I have picked one to have for tea, along with some more runner beans.
This is the start of one which will be big enough to eat in two or three days.
When you look closely they really are hairy!
