Morning is cool and
the afternoon is hot - which
do I like the best?

I was up and out before the sunrise this morning. I got a pre-dawn shot of my mountains from my deck before I drove off to McArthur Island Park. 

I was in a bit of a hurry this morning as I needed to be at the office before the world woke up. 

I had a brief look into the slough and caught the footbridge in reflection. As the slough shrinks, the activity does as well. I found a trio of deer beside the baseball fields. Around the corner there were two marmots on the stairway to the former restaurant. One seemed to be napping. On the stretch of soccer fields a flock of ducks were scouring through the grass. There must be something delicious that they're finding. 

I stopped by the office to discover a bicycle had been dumped on our landscaping. A tenant out for his early walk assured me that he'd take care of the bike. Job done, I was on my way home. 

It's going to be another hot afternoon so I'll be in and hiding. Thank heavens for air conditioning.
