Sunflower

I had an optician appointment this morning. Roadworks with road closures meant a much longer journey than normal. Unfortunately my prescription has changed so lots of reglazing required. The optician was experiencing t’internet problems so we eventually had to leave the specs with them and payment was carried out later in the afternoon by phone.

It has taken the best part of the afternoon for my eyes to recover from the drops but it was lovely to see that the first sunflower has opened and attracting the bees. It is however,facing away from our garden.
